Celebrating Local Mind Week – what’s the difference between us and Mind?

We're #YourLocalMind. We're proud to be part of the Mind family. We share knowledge and ideas, and nationally, Mind supports our work. Together we're fighting for better mental health.

This week is Local Mind Week, so we’d like to tell you about what it means to be Your Local Mind.

We are an independent charity, and part of a wider Mind family which includes over 100 local Minds across England, Wales and the Channel Islands.

Being local means that we understand our community and provide services that local people need. We work to be there when it matters for people living with mental health problems and dementia in Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich.

We are proud to part of the wider Mind family. We are also proud to be Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind (BLG Mind), an independent charity, which means we raise our own funds.

This means that every pound raised by amazing individuals and businesses in our community really does make a difference to local people.

There’s so much more we can do. Help us to do more locally by making a donation or fundraise for us. Supporting #YourLocalMind means your donations have a direct and very real impact on people in Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich.

Throughout the week we will be sharing stories on our social media channels, so please help us spread the word about the work we do. Thank you.

Together we’re fighting for better mental health.
