Lewisham Mental Health Connection Summer Barbecue

The Lewisham Mental Health Connection is holding a free summer barbeque on Tuesday 24 June (12pm to 3pm) at Hexagon Housing Association, 42 Newstead Road SE12 OSY.

The informal event is for adults with mental health problems living in Lewisham, as well as mental health professionals and carers from Lewisham. It is a chance for adults with mental health problems to experience and find out about community based events and activities to improve their mental wellbeing.

As well as the summer barbecue, there will be animal and art therapy and a competition to design a logo for the Lewisham Mental Health Connection.

Carers and mental health professionals are welcome to attend the event in a support capacity and to find out more about the mental health support services available in  Lewisham.

The Lewisham Mental Health Connection is a group consisting of  voluntary/community organisations including Quo Vadis Trust, Equinox Lewisham, Hexagon Housing Association, Bromley & Lewisham Mind, Family Action, the Mental Health Providers Forum and Animals For Therapy. The Lewisham Mental Health Connection creates recovery-focused events and activities in Lewisham, for adults experiencing mental health problems.
