Introduction to mental health and wellbeing

Participants will learn about the mental health continuum and are introduced to the 5 Ways to Wellbeing through doing.

Recognising and reducing stress

Participants learn how to spot their red flags for stress in response to different situations and identify some ‘in the moment’ coping techniques.

Navigating and responding to change

Participants explore their relationship and response to change and practice some powerful techniques for coping in a changeable environment.

Building Resilient Thinking Habits

Participants will explore the interconnectedness of our thoughts, feelings and behaviours and learn how to reframe unhelpful thinking habits.

Practising self compassion

Participants learn the importance of self-kindness and the importance of being your own friend during challenging times.

The Science of Making and Breaking (Wellbeing) Habits

Participants are introduced to the science behind habit forming and explore how to embed wellbeing tools and techniques on an ongoing basis.

Boosting confidence toolkit

Participants will learn how to boost their confidence using some simple, practical and evidence-based tools.

Building motivation through small wins

Participants will learn about the power of celebrating ‘small wins’ for building motivation and the importance of being your own cheerleader.

Developing healthy sleep habits

Participants will explore the science behind sleep and how we can develop healthy sleep habits to improve our sleep quantity and quality.

Balancing energy and prioritising relaxing

Participants are introduced to the exhaustion funnel and the energy balancing scales and explore ways to make time for rest and relaxing.

Men and mental health

Participants are introduced to some statistics around men’s mental health and explore some of the barriers men face to in maintaining their mental health and wellbeing, as well as ways to overcome them.

Managing boundaries for mental health

Participants will learn about the impact of emotional contagion and how to manage boundaries to look after their mental health and wellbeing.

Menopause and mental health

Participants learn about the potential impact of the menopause on mental health and how to manage some of the symptoms.
