What is Greenwich Peer Support?

Our peer support groups bring people with personal experiences of mental health challenges together to share their experiences and support one another.

The groups offer you the chance to develop your social circle, improve or maintain your mental wellbeing and, through some of our sessions, learn new skills.

Peer Support in Greenwich

Greenwich Peer Support is a service for adults with experience of mental health problems who want to:

  • Attend peer support activity-based groups to support their own mental wellbeing.
  • Volunteer to run activity-based groups to help others who would like support with their mental health.

Both the staff and volunteers running our Peer Support activity groups all have lived experience of mental health problems, support, and recovery.

Who can use this service?

Adults aged 18+ living or registered with a GP in the Royal Borough of Greenwich who have mental health support needs.

Greenwich Peer Support Activities

Monday
Social Group – 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Tuesday
Walk and Talk – 11am to 12pm – Various locations, meet at centre.
Arts and Crafts – 1:15pm to 2:45pm

Wednesday
Coffee Morning – 11:30am to 1pm

Thursday
Social Group – 1pm to 3:45pm

How to Sign Up

Register with Greenwich Peer Support

You will need to register your interest and enrol with the peer support team, before you are able to join the peer support groups.
