Eastern European Counselling

Eastern European Counselling is a culturally-sensitive service to support the mental health needs of adults who are either from Eastern Europe or share its cultural background.

Who is Eastern European Counselling for?

This service is for adults living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich who have a cultural background or identify as being Eastern European and would prefer to talk to a counsellor who reflects their ethnicity and cultural background.

We aim to help Eastern Europeans explore any difficulties they are experiencing, feel better understood and live a more satisfying life.

We will match you as best we can with a counsellor who speaks the same language/dialect or comes from the same cultural background as you. Besides English, we can provide counselling in Czech/Slovak, Polish etc.

“Now, for the first time in four years of hiding, I feel so safe.”
