Overview

HoardingUK is the only UK-wide charity solely dedicated to supporting people affected by hoarding behaviours.  Their aim is to empower individuals experiencing hoarding behaviours to achieve spatial and personal change, reduce isolation and improve their health and well-being.  They are a multi-service organisation, helping thousands of people over their ten years of service.  They are managed by a Board of Trustees which includes leading specialists in hoarding.

HoardingUK is a National Charity working to provide support and resources to people in situations of self-neglect, squalor and/or hoarding and those affected by it.  They provide a helpline, email and advocacy support free of charge. Awareness raising sessions and training are delivered at cost, but their aim is to bring change so they work with organisations on a case by case basis to make the training affordable.

There is telephone helpline support for people with hoarding behaviour which has been used by thousands of people impacted by hoarding related issues.  The helpline can also support families, friends, neighbours and other caring people.  Often this is the first point of entry for people seeking advice. This can be an initial step leading to ongoing engagement or an answer providing relevant information empowering informed actions.
