ClearCommunityWeb help people feel more confident and comfortable with technology through classes, workshops and individual support. They primarily work with older people, vulnerable adults and carers in South London. They also work with families. ClearCommunityWeb partner and build relationships with organizations to help them reach their communities by providing training and expertise.

The drop-ins provide a friendly space to get questions answered or problems solved for your laptop, tablet or smart phone. You can also practice in a supported environment and get access to other local learning programmes. ClearCommunityWeb understand that for many people technology can be overwhelming and so, making information as simple as possible can go a long way to giving people the confidence to become more independent in an informal setting. These sessions are a chance for you to drop-in with your device, sit down with a member of the team to get help with a single issue or develop your skills.

Typical things ClearCommunityWeb  help with include:

  • Setting up accounts
  • Installing apps
  • Resetting passwords
  • Being safer online
  • Transferring files
  • Checking for problems
  • Starting at the beginning

If unable help on the day, individuals can be referred to another of the organisation’s drop-ins or their central support programme.

Please note: There will be no drop-ins 5 June – 9 June 2023.
