Lambeth CACS is a Tier 3 child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS). It provides assessment, treatment and care for young people, aged 0-18, who have moderate to severe mental health difficulties which impact on their functioning. They also will see young people and their families where substance misuse is co-occurring with a mental health disorder. To be seen in the service all children and young people must be registered with a Lambeth GP.

They also provide specialist support for children and young people who have moderate to severe learning difficulties. This includes autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Tourette Syndrome (TS).

They are based at two main sites in the community; 35 Black Prince Road, the Mary Sheridan Centre.

The team is multi-disciplinary and includes child and adolescent psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, community psychiatric nurses, child psychotherapists, occupational therapists, as well as creative therapists. They are an IAPT service and they offer individual and family interventions, psychological therapies including talk therapies, creative therapies and medication management in line with NICE guidelines.
