Bromley MindCare Direct Dementia Support provides individually tailored respite and activities at home, giving families and friends some time away from caring for someone with dementia. The Mindcare Direct Dementia Support at Home service has been providing specialist dementia care for over 25 years.

Bromley MindCare Dementia Support, part of South East London Mind, provides respite and activities at home to give family carers a break from caring. The support provided is individually tailored to the needs of the person with dementia and those who care for them.

MindCare always ensures the person with dementia is put first with care planned around their physical and emotional needs, based on their life history and interests.

The service allows carers to have some respite knowing their loved one is in safe hands. A trained MindCare professional will spend a minimum of two hours with the person diagnosed with dementia, engaging them in stimulating and enjoyable activities, while the carer enjoys a some time away from caring.

Respite visits can be booked during the day, evening and occasionally overnight.
